Review: Majesty

Majesty by Katharine McGee
Publisher: Random House • Publication Date: September 1, 2020

Majesty was one of my most anticipated reads and in my opinion it did not disappoint! I may have liked Majesty a little bit more than American Royals. I’d love for the series to continue, but if this is the final book, I was pleased with the ending.

Aside from Daphne because I feel like she is just meant to be the character you dislike, I enjoyed Beatrice, Samantha and Nina’s storyline. You can’t help but root for Beatrice as she figures out how to be the Queen of America and figure out if Teddy or Connor will be part of her future and how to advocate for herself. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Samantha in the first book, but I think her journey in Majesty was my favorite of them all. You get to watch Samantha grow up through this book.

For me, Majesty was the perfect sequel to American Royals. If you have not read this series, I can not recommend it enough!
