Can one read too many Christmas books before the holiday season starts? To quote Mean Girls, “the limit does not exist!” It has been a crazy year and Hallmark Christmas movies are one of my favorite things, so I had to start reading Christmas books over the summer thanks to NetGalley. I’ve read 4 holiday books so far and have a few on my TBR, hoping I can get some more in before the year ends. Here are two mini reviews on my latest holiday reads.

A Christmas to Remember by Jenny Hale
This book will definitely get you into the holiday spirit! I enjoyed all of the characters you meet along the way in this book and the meaning behind the story that while success is great, your family will be the ones there for you in the end. I really liked the main character Carrie, she spoke her mind even if she thought it would affect her job because she saw what Adam was lacking with his family and didn’t want him to realize years later what he missed out on. And even if sometimes I wish Adam would’ve realized things sooner, I liked that Hale gave glimpses into him realizing what he was doing to his family was wrong and he was trying to change it.

Christmas Charms by Teri Wilson
Wilson is behind some of my favorite Hallmark movies so how could I pass this up? I loved the journey Ashley goes on discovering what each of the charms on her bracelet mean for things in her life and her growth throughout the story. Towards the end I could not put the book down and I had such a huge smile on my face reading it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever Publishing and Hallmark Publishing for digital advance copies in exchange for an honest review.
