Kerry Lonsdale is an auto-read author to me and I discovered her books purely by accident. A few years ago I read her book, Everything We Keep, the first book in the Everything series because it was on sale for 99 cents on Amazon Kindle. Not knowing anything about Kerry’s book, but not wanting to pass up a bargain at 99 cents, I purchased the book and was instantly hooked.
Since that first book, I devoured the Everything series and still wish it continued past book three since I was not ready to say goodbye to the characters I had gotten to know. I was lucky to be chosen to read early copies of Last Summer and Side Trip on NetGalley, two of Kerry’s standalone books and I loved both of them. The only book of Kerry’s I haven’t read yet but own of All the Breaking Waves. Why haven’t I read it yet? Because I love her books so much and always hate when they end so I like to space them out so I always have a Kerry book to turn to.
What makes Kerry an auto-read author to me? Her books have it all, there is romance, mysteries that keep you guessing and characters you can’t help but root for and some you can’t help but dislike as they stand in the way.
Kerry’s next book, No More Words comes out on July 1 and it is part of a series with two other books following it to be released in 2022 and 2023. I have an early copy of it sitting on my Kindle and I cannot wait to dive into it. I’m sure I’ll love it as much as I have loved all of her other books.
