ARC Review: Under the Southern Sky

Under the Southern Sky by Kristy Woodson Harvey
Publisher: Gallery Books • Publication Date: April 20, 2021

This was my first book by Kristy Woodson Harvey and I will definitely be adding her other books to my TBR. It was nice through this book to take a little “vacation” to the North Carolina coast.

This was a really emotional book and I have to say, I truly enjoyed the way it handled grief by showing how hard it is to move on after losing someone, while also showing hope for how to move on. I became fully immersed in both Amelia and Parker’s stories. As characters on their own they are both very strong and as their stories started to weave together it only helped to strengthen them. I liked the addition of Greer’s journal entries as they pertained to what was happening in the story.

Thank you to Gallery Books and NetGalley for an advance digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

CW: Cancer, death, infidelity
