Review: Goodnight Beautiful

Goodnight Beautiful by Aimee Molloy
Publisher: Harper • Publication Date: October 13, 2020

This was the first book I took notes on while reading and they mainly consisted of WTF is going on? This book took me on one wild ride and it was worth it. When part one ended, I had my theories as to what was going on, but those theories were turned upside down because you are thrown for a loop when part two begins. I actually went back and reread some chapters because I thought I missed something along the way. And when part three starts, you are thrown for even more of a loop, so ignore your theories and jut let Aimee Molloy take you on a journey.

When you read the synopsis of the book, you think you know what is going to happen, and as someone who always reads the synopsis before starting a book, this is one where it pays to go in blindly. I loved that the book was fast paced and it was hard to put down because I needed to know what was going on. I hate when I can figure out the twists in psychological thrillers early, but the twists in this one I did not see coming. Highly recommend this book if you are looking for a clever and action packed psychological thriller.
