Review: Shipped

Shipped by Angie Hockman
Publisher: Gallery Books • Publication Date: January 19, 2021

Prior to reading Shipped, the Galápagos was a place I really did not have an interest in traveling to. After reading this book, I really want to go there! I really enjoyed this book which features my favorite trope, enemies to lovers, and was like a mash up of some of my favorite rom com books.

I loved both Henley and Graeme and I found Henley to be incredibly relatable. Their banter had me laughing throughout the book and I definitely would’ve been fine reading many more pages of it. One of my favorite things about the book was how much Graeme respected Henley, especially when she was doing everything in her power to show what a dedicated and hard worker she was. I wish the ending was expanded on a little bit more, I did enjoy it, but I wanted to see a little bit more of how life was going to play out for these characters. Shipped also has an incredible cast of supporting characters.

This is a great debut book and if you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to read more books by Angie Hockman now.
