ARC Review: Just One Look

Just One Look by Lindsay Cameron

Before I start a new book, I always read the synopsis, but I’m learning lately with thrillers, it pays to go in blind and let them take you on a wild ride. Just One Look is bonkers, but in such a good way! It is also a fast-paced thriller that is hard to put down because you need to know what is going on.

While I did think the main character Cassie was crazy through a lot of this book with her obsession with Forest, a partner at the firm she was doing a temp job for, and his wife Annabelle, I was also in a weird way rooting for her. The book took a turn about three quarters of the way in that I just loved, because not only did I not see it coming, it also made a gripping story even more enjoyable.

Thank you to Ballantine Books for an advance digital copy in exchange for an honest review, Just One Look will be out on July 27.
